What a glorious day! My heart is full. We just returned from Easter Sunday services. I am always amazed how God reveals himself fresh and anew in my life. Walking with Him brings hope and joy in the midst of any circumstance. I pray that you will find new revelations of His love in your life as you seek Him.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." John 3:16,17
"I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. Michelle, you are an amazing person. I am really blessed and convicted by your attitude as you go through this time in your life. Yesterday at church our pastor said something that has really stuck in my mind. He was talking about Jesus and his death on the cross. Rather than the "typical" things usually said on Easter morning, about how Jesus died for everyone, he talked about the concern Jesus showed for individuals as He was dying. He was concerned about the men on the crosses next to Him, and his mother Mary. He didn't whine and complain about the pain, the separation from His father that He knew was coming, the fact that He'd been beaten and was slowly suffocating... He hung there and thought about the people around Him and was concerned for them.
I see you being like that. Like Jesus. You have never said anything that sounds like a pity party or a whine or moan. You look Outward and have tried to give, and point your readers to Him as you've gone through so much.
